Heywood Prep was the very first school to join the Wishford Schools group, back in July 2012.

The Wishford Schools team, led by Executive Chairman Sam Antrobus, acts as the school’s governing body. The governing body is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the school, appointing the senior leadership team (and holding them to account), and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Each school in the Wishford group benefits from the support of the Executive Team, the expertise of its Director of Strategy and Education, and Director of Compliance, and a vastly experienced Advisory Board. Heads and teachers across the group are able to share ideas and best practice, and this culture of creative thinking, discussion and debate results in exciting developments across all our schools.
