At Heywood, every child is given the opportunity to discover their potential and build a strong foundation for the future. Our approach to personalised learning ensures that each pupil benefits from a true Heywood Head Start, with teaching that recognises their individual strengths and interests.
Our Individualised Learning Programme provides every child with half an hour of daily lessons outside the regular timetable, designed to develop their abilities, interests, and confidence. This focused time accelerates progress by addressing individual strengths and challenges, ensuring that when pupils leave Year 6, they are academically prepared and ready to thrive in the next phase of their education.
