Reception Taster Morning

Welcome to Heywood Prep, a nurturing and high-achieving school for boys and girls aged 2-11 in Corsham, Wiltshire. Here, children not only develop passion for learning but also develop the confidence to reach their full potential through our individualised curriculum.

What better way to explore our wonderful prep school than by joining us for our magical ‘Eggtastic’ Parent and Child Taster Morning on Friday 20th March 2026. This event is specially designed to provide parents and children with a glimpse into the exciting world of Heywood Prep, for those children due to start Reception in September 2026.

The morning will be filled with Easter-themed activities, carefully crafted to make your child’s experience both enjoyable and memorable. Our wonderful Head of Modern Languages, Mrs Rebecca Forster-Dark, will also lead the children in a fun and interactive music and movement session using French and Spanish.

The morning will start with tea and coffee being served between 9.15 and 9.30am. We will then start our exciting activities at 9.30am. The event will finish at 11.00am, after enjoying some delicious homemade goodies.
