It’s a wonderful world!

Some of our Year One pupils have been “travelling” our “Wonderful World” in their Individualised Learning sessions.

First stopping in Hawaii, they learned about Hawaiian traditions, the language and tasted some of the exotic food grown there. The passion fruit was a real surprise for some! They “flew” on to Japan and last week learned about the Tanabata Festival, enjoying the traditional folktale and writing wishes to hang from trees for the Sky God to grant! Where will they “fly” to next?
