I wonder what squirrels eat?

We are delighted to now be able to offer Forest School sessions to our youngest children and they are already a huge success! Miss Creighton, who is passionate about wildlife and the outdoors, has now completed her Forest School training and will be leading sessions in Antonia’s Garden for our Nursery and Pre-Prep children. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for children to explore the world around them.

The Nursery children this week started their session by following animal footprints and collecting them on their journey. Later, they hunted for a red squirrel that was hidden in the garden. It wasn’t long before the squirrel was found, hiding in one of the bushes. Which led the children to their next discovery – what squirrels eat. Hidden inside the squirrel’s tummy were various acorns and seeds!
