Bambis

The emphasis for this group is on social interaction, helping the children to become familiar with the routines at Wigwam.

The children are also encouraged to explore and learn through play and to sit quietly when listening to stories. Art and craft activities help to develop manipulative skills and music is introduced so that the children learn to recognise songs and simple rhythms.

Self-awareness, independence and responsibility are achieved by carrying out routine tasks such as washing hands and putting coats and hats on and off.
