Welcome to the Reception Page!

As we start the Summer Term we are joined by three new members, these being Charles,Darcey E and William J. The current children are Aiyshah, Charlotte, Claire, Darcy, Emily, Evie, Fergus, Libby, Lola, Lottie, Nathan, Ruby, Sam, Shreya and William who are all looking forward to encompassing our new friends into the classroom.

I hope you all enjoyed your Easter break and are ready to make the most of our last term!

As there are 18 children in the class, which is too many to get in the minibus in one go, it has been decided to make two groups to swim, each on alternate weeks.

Group A - Aiyshah, Darcey E,  Emily, Fergus, Lola, Lottie, Nathan, Shreya and William J.

They will be swimming on Mondays 23rd April, 14th &  28th May, 18th June and 2nd July.

Group B - Charles, Charlotte, Claire, Darcy,  Evie, Libby, Ruby, Sam and William.

They will be swimming on Mondays 30th April, 21 May, 11th & 25th June and 9th July.

REMINDER

Swimming commences on Monday 23rd April, so don't forget to bring along their bags!

Tuesday 24th we start P.E. again and will need their P.E. kit in by then.

On Wednesdays we have our walk and wellies are still needed. So if you have not yet brought them in yet it, would be a good idea to do so.

Friday mornings are a good time, if you would like to come and talk to the children about an interesting job or hobby. We thoroughly enjoyed the talk on bee keeping and tasting the honey!

Monday 7th May is a Bank Holiday so no school!

Our Topic this term is Water and if there is anything that you would like to bring in that is related to it, that would be appreciated.

The children are very welcome to bring in toys to school, so long as they are pocket size and fit into their school drawers, for practical purposes!
