Aims are sought to be achieved in the following ways:

• Small class sizes which allow for individual teaching and facilitate differentiation.

• Regularly updated Pupil Profiles reflect achievement in standardised tests and examinations which inform the next stage of the child’s development.

• Use of a standardised format for Schemes of Work which allow for differentiation and encourage cross-curricular links.

• Frequent review and updating of the Curriculum and Resources.

• Appropriate Professional Development for staff.

• Involvement of staff in matters relating to the management of the school.

• Encouragement of sporting and extra-curricular activities and a system of merit badges and awards.

• Most importantly, an ethos of caring for the individual and concern for others.
